Due to potential risk in recent health-epidemiological situation in Europe, the organizers of the scientific-professional conference Challenges in meteorology decided to postpone the conference.

The conference will be held from 4 to 6 November 2020.

This conference is especially important in the year in which Croatia will preside the European Union Council. Meteorology has an important role in supporting activities involving the general public and economy. Public authorities are one of main users of wide range of meteorological products and information in their everyday work.

The aims of the conference are: exchange of the most recent results of the scientific research in meteorology; strengthening communication with the users of meteorological data, along with the general public and media; strengthening cooperation between meteorologists and other scientists, as well as promotion and popularization of meteorology.

Expected results of the conference are closer interdisciplinary cooperation of meteorologists and users of meteorological products and information in all kinds of public and economy activities, mainly public authorities at all different levels.
